ABOUT KAYLA

5.png

Kayla is a dedicated Developmental Educator with a strong background in positive behaviour support. She also holds a wealth of lived experience by being a primary parent of a child with a disability. This allows Kayla to firsthand understand the impacts this can have on the family dynamic.

Kayla is particularly passionate about supporting young people and their support networks in areas such as emotional regulation, independent life skills, advocacy, and the ability to empower little minds. Her interest in child development is complemented by her focus on key transitional stages throughout childhood. Kayla excels in designing well thought out, person-centred resources, to best support the busy home life allowing parents and caregivers to be able to navigate life.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, often relaxing at the beach on a nice summer day or heading down the coast for a few days in the caravan. Though family life may revolve around children’s shows like Bluey and Cocomelon, Kayla also enjoys indulging in a good TV series or a movie marathon when the time allows.
