Carly is a dedicated Developmental Educator with a strong background in therapeutic play. She holds a Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education from Flinders University and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Play Therapy.

Carly brings over a decade of experience working across the disability sector with children, young people, and their families. She has a wealth of knowledge supporting individuals with diverse communication styles, sensory profiles, and ways of engaging with the world. Carly’s multidisciplinary expertise enables her to deliver holistic, evidence-based support that fosters growth, autonomy, and emotional wellbeing.

As a neurodivergent professional herself, Carly combines professional expertise with lived experience, allowing her to approach each child’s journey with genuine empathy, deep reflection, and unwavering commitment to inclusion. Carly believes it is a true privilege when a child invites her into their world and places strong importance on building trust and connection through play, choice, and authentic relationships.

Carly is particularly passionate about creating empowering spaces where children are seen, heard, and celebrated just as they are. She loves supporting children to build confidence, express themselves freely, and work toward their personal goals in ways that feel meaningful and achievable for them.

Outside of Grow, Carly enjoys volunteering, staying active, cooking, and spending time with her family — especially in her favourite role of being a very proud aunty!
